Upgrade Yourself: Jane Austen's Collection of Letters [Brabourne Edition] [Annotated] Free Download
by Jane Austen
Jane Austen wrote thousands of letters over the course of her life. Unfortunately, most of these have been lost, but a few dozens were stored by various recipients, most notably her sister Cassandra. This collection was originally edited by Lord Brabourne, Austen's great-nephew. It was not complete nor entirely accurate, as he cut out some paragraphs and left out about a third of her letters. The missing fragments have been added for this edition, clearly marked to differenciate them, and more letters from Austen Leigh's A Memoire of Jane Austen, which were not originally included, have been added as an appendix. This edition includes: Brabourne's collection of letters, personally annotated by him, with restored paragraphs and additional letters and notes Letters and miscellanious material from Austen's family that are relevant to her story Austen family genealogical tree A link to a free audiobook narrating most of the letters
